Wes Silver wasn’t looking for love, but when July Mayson literally knocks him on his ass during their first encounter, his world is turned upside down by the quirky blonde, and every moment with her makes him more determined to protect her.
July Mayson doesn’t understand the pull she feels toward the bad boy biker Wes Silver, but she knows being with him is like nothing she’s ever felt before. Now all she has to do is tell her overprotective father, Asher Mayson, that she’s found her boom.
*shakes head 129813 times* WHYYYYYYY??? JUST WHY WOULD SOMEONE DO IT?!
I think I have previously talked about my dislike for MC books, well… this is another one of those books. The Until Series was a great series of books full of hot moments, sweet kisses and just enough drama to not make it too much, but this series, although it has barely started (this is the first book) has already disappointed me. Just a tip to writers: if you did fine without MC’s please don’t add them in future books.
There was nothing new in this book, same old related to Motorcycle Clubs, meaning they want to be clean but for some reason they have to get messed up in some bad shit, and beautiful girl that is supposed to be independent but in reality just does whatever the hell the boy wants her to do except for the times where she should actually do what he said (i.e.: when someone is shooting around in the club and they tell you to stay put PLEASE, stay put.)
Overall, the funny parts weren’t actually that funny and the sexy parts were a bit lacking, except for the dirty talk department, there was a lot going on there.
I was excited; I can’t even say that anymore, throughout the whole book I wanted to know more about Z and Kayan’s story than about the actual main characters because that is how little I stand them. Well, at least the protectiveness of the main “hero” comes in handy towards the end of the book.
With all this being said, I’m still fairly excited for Jax’s book, and posibly all the books that will come after; I still have hope that this will get better because Until November (Book #1 of the Until Series) was the one I least liked and then I ended up loving the series, so lets wait for Jax and see how things turn out.
Enjoy your day!
