LONG WAY DOWN BLOG TOUR: Cards Against Humanity with the Addicted Gang!

AAAAAAH WE ARE SO CLOSE THE LONG WAY DOWN RELEASE DATE! Only 2 days before we can dive into this glorious, and sadly last book, of the Addicted series. Nonetheless, we’re all super excited and we can’t wait to read about Ryke and Daisy again! But before that, we can first watch them play Cards Against Humanity. ADDICTED GANG PLAYS CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY
(three rounds)

RULES: To start the game, each player draws ten White Cards. Everyone else answers the question or fills in the blank by passing one White Card, face down, to the Card Czar. before presenting each answer. The Card Czar then picks the funniest play, and whoever submitted it gets one Awesome Point. (as stated by the actual game rules)

ROUND ONE

(Loren is the Card Czar – he draws the black card below)

Loren: tread goddamn carefully on this one. *shoots everyone a glare*

*everyone pulls out a card and passes it face-down to Lo and then he shuffles*

Loren: *reads aloud* … “a death ray.” Death rays are cool, and this must be my boring brother’s card. He’s going in the not gonna choose you pile.

Ryke: fuck off.

Connor: and he’s not even going to deny it.

Ryke: so fucking what? It was my card. Nothing else fit.

Connor: I highly doubt that.

Loren: *reads aloud* “The new Avengers movie was great until they added…” *glares at Daisy who’s smiling mischievously* “…cock-flavored spit.” You’re desecrating a holy area, you know that?

Daisy: *feigns surprise* I had no idea cock-flavored spit wielded such power!

Ryke: *almost laughs*

Loren: *shakes his head and reads next card* “The new Avengers movie was great until they added…”

Loren: Winner. *tosses all the other cards aside*

Lily: *springs to feet in surprise, blushes a little* I finally won one? *does a jig in a circle*

Rose: *glares* you didn’t even read the rest of the cards, Loren. We could’ve had better ones than Batman.

Loren: no you couldn’t, Queen Rose. Batman ruins all that I love. Unless it’s Connor beneath the goddamn Batman costume.

Connor: thanks, darling. *winks*

ROUND TWO

(Lily is the Card Czar – she draws the black card below)

Lily: *blushes bright red and everyone quickly passes her their cards. She shuffles them* “Here’s the first one. At my company they feed us fresh…boobies at every meal.”

Daisy: yum. *wags brows*

Ryke: *messes Daisy’s hair and she smiles*

Lily: “At my company they feed us fresh…” Hey, that’s not cool.

Lily: Who did this one? Because you’re on my I don’t like you right now list.

Loren: *mock winces* ouch, love, that sounds scary.

Lily: *squints at him into a glare* It is. Bad things happen to people on this list.

Ryke: For fuck’s sake, I did it.

Lily: Ha!

Ryke: Ha, what?

Lily: Ha, I found you, you … you Harry Potter perpetrator!

Loren: *rubs Lily’s shoulders* Get ‘em, Lil.

Ryke: *rolls his eyes*

Lily: *reads aloud* “At my company they feed us fresh…” I don’t like this game anymore.

Connor: a fresh dead baby. *shakes head* I could comment, but the stupidity is just burning a whole in my frontal lobe.

Ryke: don’t call my brother stupid, Cobalt.

Connor: I didn’t rat out his card to everyone, so if we’re being technically, you’re the one who just shined a light on him.

Lily: *clears throat* “At my company they feed us fresh…” *looks horrified*

Loren: was that Connor or Rose?

Rose: *glares* this is supposed to be anonymous to remove bias and favoritism, Loren.

Loren: playing games with Ravenclaws sucks ass.

Lily: *last one to choose from* “At my company they feed us fresh…vikings.” I like this one the best. *slides it across the table as the winning card*

Loren: *gapes* that’s so boring, Lil.

Rose: *snatches the winning card* this was mine.

Loren: of course it was. *eyes drift to Connor and he begins to grin* tentacle porn?

Connor: *grins more* Don’t judge a company by their kinks.

Loren: a novel by Connor Cobalt.

*everyone laughs*

ROUND THREE

(Connor is the Card Czar – he draws the black card below)

Ryke: *shuffles through his cards* stop fucking gloating, Cobalt.

Connor: you’re not even looking at me.

Ryke: I can feel you.

Connor: *grins* then you should be more excited.

Ryke: *flips him off*

*all the cards are given to Connor and he shuffles and flips one over*

Connor: No.

Daisy: high-fives to whoever flipped that one.

Lily: *high-fives her sis*

Rose: *snaps her fingers at them* anonymous

Daisy: he already rejected sprinkles the unicorn.

Connor: *flips three over* so my pet direwolf can be named camel toe or Ronald Reagan or … *arches a brow*

Daisy: *wags brows*

Loren: hey, you’re missing a card there, love.

Connor: *flips over the last one*

Connor: naming my direwolf after myself might be a little too much.

Ryke: or calling yourself a fucking god might’ve been too much.

Connor: I know you’re upset that your name wasn’t on one of the cards. If it’s any consolation, I would’ve named my direwolf after you.

Ryke: please end this fucking game before I punch you in the face.

Connor: *grins and picks Ronald Reagan*

Rose: *collects the card*

Lily: *whispers to Lo* nerd star powers.
